| New Program | | Monday, January 01, 0001 (2388 reads) HFI has launched a new program that includes visiting various universities, colleges, and training schools to attract a new generation of helicopter pilots and maintenance technicians and to forge relationships with the schools. To kick off the program, HFI participated in the first annual "Aviation Spring Career Expo" at Pennsylvania College of Technology in April.
May – Visited Upper Limit Aviation, Salt Lake City Airport
Salt Lake Community College, Salt Lake
Mountain Air Helicopters at Cache Airport in Logan, Utah.
July – Outreach to High School students in conjunction with UND Aerospace.
July – Attended the Program Advisory Committee meeting of the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Manassas, Virginia
Next stops: Training Schools, Community Colleges in Minnesota, the Northwest United States, and Texas, ERAU Career Day in Prescott, Arizona, and Community Colleges and Training Schools in the area. Also, outreach to High School Students in the Northern Virginia area in conjunction with Aviation Institute of Maintenance—Manassas Campus.
