HFI has launched a new program of visiting various universities, colleges, and training schools to attract a new generation of helicopter pilots and maintenance technicians and forge relationships with the schools. To kick off the program, HFI participated in the first annual "Aviation Spring Career Expo" at Pennsylvania College of Technology in April in 2007. Since then, we have exhibited at numerous events and visited dozens of training schools and colleges including:

In addition, Past CEO Michael Suldo met with approximately 35 helicopter pilot students and gave a lecture on CRM at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University—Prescott Campus. Past CEO Suldo also assisted HFI with the exhibit at National Aviation Academy in Clearwater and Aviation Day at Van Nuys Airport.
Matt Zuccaro gave the keynote speech to approximately 1,200 students and professional A&Ps for their renewals, and gave two lectures at the Annual Safety Symposium at Chandler-Gilbert College.
HFI attended Mesa Police Aviation's 10th Annual Safety Fly-in, Mesa, ArizonaIn cooperation with Helicopter Association International, HFI, as a courtesy, distributes brochures from HAI Member companies who cannot be present at the various Career Days and other events.
