Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) works to ensure the helicopter industry’s future success and to preserve its rich past. Last year HFI awarded 18 scholarships. These scholarships were awarded for Commercial Helicopter Rating Scholarships (4), Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarships (6), and Bill Sanderson Aviation Maintenance Technician Scholarships (7) to attend maintenance courses at various institutions throughout the country, and one Michelle North Scholarship for Safety. HFI would like to build on that success and expand our scholarship offerings for this year.
The Lightspeed Aviation Foundation has announced that it will award a $10,000 grant to the top five vote getting aviation charities. HFI would like to be one of those lucky top five charities. YOUR VOTE CAN HELP HFI SPONSOR ADDITIONAL HELICOPTER PILOT AND MAINTENANCE SCHOLARSHIPS.
