Michelle North Scholarship – For Those who Promote Safety!

The Helicopter Foundation International is pleased to accept applications for The Michelle North Scholarship for Safety – a scholarship specifically geared to promote safety within the helicopter industry. One winner will be selected from all qualified applicants and he or she will be invited to join us at HELI-EXPO 2012 in Dallas, Texas.

Helicopter Foundation International (HFI) works to ensure the helicopter industry’s future success and to preserve its rich past. Last year HFI awarded 18 scholarships. These scholarships were awarded for Commercial Helicopter Rating Scholarships (4), Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarships (6), and Bill Sanderson Aviation Maintenance Technician Scholarships (7) to attend maintenance courses at various institutions throughout the country, and one Michelle North Scholarship for Safety. HFI would like to build on that success and expand our scholarship offerings for this year.

Beginning today, interested students can go to www.helicopterfoundation.org and download an application for the scholarship of their choice.
